December 2009: AISoft Chennai seminar draws a thousand students!

 AISoft conducted a half-day Java technologies seminar in Chennai primarily geared towards college students. The seminar was conducted in collaboration with Sun Microsystems and Tata Consultancy Services. The seminar had over a thousand students and faculty from several Engineering colleges including Job seekers

The event was held at Chinmaya Heritage Centre,  Chennai

Among the speakers were Mr Anup Nautiyal from Sun Microsystems who spoke about the importance of Sun Certifications, and on how a student could go about getting himself certified; Mr Srinidhi from Sun Microsystems introduced Java as a technical language and spoke about the present and future of this dynamic language; and Mr Ramshankar, Senior Consultant from TCS who spoke about the value of a Certification from a Recruiter’s perspective.

The event also saw the launch of AISoft’s new Placement Cell.
