Manufacturing Industry world over has adopted the concept
of fragmenting complex or not so complex products to elements/components at multiple levels with the last level being
that of the raw materials and components sourced from outside
and held in stores. Other than the last level components,
all other components are necessarily associated with their
own processes. The matrix of such a well-designed system,
which is in the normal flow of processes lends itself to simplify
the manufacturing of complex products, achieving at the same
time Quality and consistency, just in time (JIT), timely delivery,
providing satisfaction to customer and essentially providing
sustained interest to manufacturers by way of thicker bottom
line. All these are achieved in AIMS - ERP Core solutions
in as much the same way as other leading ERP solution providers.
This was also being developed for a computer assembly unit,
which is also into retailing. The modules involved are Enquiry,
Planning, Dispatch & Logistics, Stores, Spares and Consumables,
Production, MIS, Accounts, HR& Administration and Communication
modules. They have got regional offices, branches and national
logistics centers all over India to which they communicate
through the communications module. The communication module
is in-house built in solution used for communication to different
locations. Authorization module gives the flexibility to authorize
a document at various locations (Regional office / Head Office).
