The Application ETRAX is built for a company dealing with shipments via road for a very large Computer Manufacturer located in Malaysia. The application is built to run with smart support 24/7. Order Inputs come in via FTP from the Manufacturer, the data gets imported at regular intervals by a schedule program that runs unattended on the server, a log file is updated each time to store the event of success / failure of the import. The application is then accessed by users of the transport company to update the shipment status and new route, which in turn gets exported back to the manufacturer via e-mail. On failure of Import / Export for certain reasons, the application tracks the error and mails the details to a support center in Bangalore. A powerful utility module is also incorporated to view files imported, exported, start export, import manually, query analyzer to verify data integrity directly on the Database.
